Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 to land with a bigger battery than previously rumored
A while ago, reports surfaced indicating that the Galaxy Z Flip4 would see a slight battery upgrade from the Z Flip3, jumping from 3300 mAh to 3400 mAh. New information now calls those reports into doubt, and in a positive way as well.
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Flip4 will be equipped with a 3700 mAh battery. That's a decent improvement over the 3300 mAh Z Flip3, and should assuage some of the battery-life complaints the foldable faced at launch.
In addition, the Galaxy Z Flip4 is expected to be powered by the TSMC-made Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, which is tipped to offer better battery life than the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The Galaxy Z Fold4 is unlikely to offer amazing battery life, but it should be a noticeable upgrade on last year's phone. Supposedly, the Z Flip4 will also get a charging upgrade to 25 W versus the Z Flip3's 15 W. What's not to like?
