Man Left In Shock After His N17K iPhone 11 Tells Him “Welcome, Bye”

A man identified as Bassey Imoh revealed that he got an iPhone 11 worth almost N300k, for N17k in Uyo.
The phone, however, had a rather weird welcome and goodbye display on its screen, unlike other Apple phones.
While we all love a good deal, this, however, sounds just too good to be true.
Sharing his experience on Twitter, He wrote: “iPhone 11 wey ah just buy yesterday for plaza, Uyo..if I ON am e go tell me welcome two minutes later e go off by em self come tell me bye-bye join.. abeg people wey get Iphone11 na so de phone dey behave?? Because my 17,000 naira no fit go like that oooo”

Strike: FG meets ASUU today, SSANU Friday

The Federal Government has resumed talks with representatives of unions in the nation’s universities,  The PUNCH  reports. The PUNCH  reported last week that the Prof Nimi Briggs committee set up by the government to renegotiate the 2009 agreement was expected to end its three months’ timelines given on June 7, 2022. But investigations revealed that the committee would meet Academic Staff Union of Universities on Monday (today) while the Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and allied institutions would have their meeting on Friday. “We are meeting the FG committee in Abuja on Monday,” a source in ASUU said. On our social media watch today, we saw reports on how Two Nigerian guys who were allegedly online scammers and duped a Mexican client of $1.6million. A twitter lady revealed how two yahoo boys burnt to death by a Mexican man who lured them over to Mexico after they scammed him of a whooping sum of $1.6million and he made a down payment of $400,000 with $1.2million to balance . It appeared the ‘client’ knew he was being duped so he led them on to coming to his country an reportedly burnt them alive. 2 Nigerian guys duped a Mexican to the tune of 400 thousand dollars, expecting another 1.2 million.
