Wizkid Bags The Biggest Endorsement Deal In Africa

Nigerian Afrobeat musician, Wizkid, has landed himself an ambassadorial deal with United Bank for Africa (UBA).
The deal is worth the whopping sum of $3million, that is over 1billion when converted to naira.
Recall that a few months back, Wizkid made a statement about what he described as the biggest endorsement deal in Africa.
Wizkid became UBA's brand ambassador in July, 2019, and a proposal was made to expand the already existing long term relationship between UBA and the music star.
It is speculated that Starboy has got the biggest fan base in Africa, something UBA hopes to harness. Their marketing strategy is aimed at attracting the fans of Wizkid to the bank.
The UBA endorsement deal covers adverts, performances and partnerships. This is not just the biggest endorsement deal in Africa but it is also the first billion naira endorsement deal in the history of the Nigerian entertainment industry.
We are waiting to see who breaks this record.
